at Blanco's, Port Talbot by Andrew Davis Photography

Weddings, weddings and more weddings…and some other stuff too!

Yep, its been one of those months…or two. Loads of weddings. This is why I haven’t blogged for a while (that and I’m not very good keeping up with it).

I have been everywhere from Hensol Castle through to Port Talbot and a many places in-between and even though it has been an exhausting and challenging time it has been fun. We’ve had our fair share of rain in Wales, but I have been lucky enough to shoot predominantly dry weddings. maybe I’m a lucky charm….okay maybe not!

Not only have the weddings been coming thick and fast the studio had its busiest month ever in July too, somehow I also found time to have a weekend off and take the family to the F1 then too (see my last blog). September is looking a little quieter which might give me chance to catch my breath before the Christmas rush, but I might be inundated in the studio with families showing off their holiday tans in their photographs.

In amongst all of the photographic work I have also been sorting through a lot of admin and looking at ways that I can improve my service. I have decided thatall of my regular sized studio prints up to 12×10 will now come in a mount whilst everything larger will be dry mounted ready for framing. Unfortunately it will mean that there has been a slight price increase to accommodate the changes, but I am sure you will agree that it is worth it. My studio prices haven’t changed since I opened the studio 6 years ago, so it was also long overdue. If you’d like to have a look at the changes then click here.

As for the highlight of the last month then it was probably the first wedding of this run at the end of July. It was a difficult day with what seemed like April showers in August. They lasted only a few minutes yet I managed to get some lovely pictures of the couple.

Here’s a few pics from that wedding.

(yes I did say the C word…sorry)
