A lot has happened since my last post. We all know about it and there isn’t really much we can do about it, other than stay safe and try and avoid other people, etc…you all know the score.

The world is a different place…

…and it will be that way for a long time to come. However, the photography industry and in particular the wedding side of it has started moving forward again. Nearly every wedding after the lockdown has been postponed to next year, I only have one remaining this year and fingers crossed that will take place as planned. But it isn’t just rearranged weddings that are filling up dates for next year. A flurry of new enquiries and bookings over the past few weeks has given me a lot of optimism for 2021 and beyond. Really wish I could get going now…

If you are planning on a 2021 wedding and beyond, then drop me a message for more information.

Something else?

As well as the wedding enquiries, I have also been contacted about when the studio will be opening back up for portraits and family shoots…I have a feeling, or maybe it’s just hope, that there will be a rush on when I do reopen (fingers crossed). Unfortunately though, a photographic studio (no matter how much social distancing and safety measures are implemented) is not classed as an essential business and I will be a good few months before I am allowed to reopen again. This doesn’t mean that I will have to wait that long before I shall be allowed to work though. I’m hoping that location shoots will be given the green light in the coming weeks and family shoots in parks, etc will be something that people want.

If this is something that you’d be interested in, either for yourself or even as a gift to a loved one, then you can book a sitting with me here or even buy a gift voucher to use at anytime.
