Time to reopen
Well…almost
Taking on board the latest government advice, the studio will be allowed to reopen from Monday 22nd of June. This is great news and with just a couple of social distancing measures to be put in place it should be ready to go. However, I won’t be opening fully just yet, as I still have two children that will need some attention at home (they can be left for short periods, but not the full day as they’re boys!!!). I have decided that I will open for pre booked appointments, but I will also open for some half days during the week for people to call in unannounced.
Due to the size of the studio, I will only be allowing one person or family in at any one time. These are just the first stages of normality and hopefully we will be back to normal in just a few months or so.
Hair!!!
Many of you might be thinking that is “great, the studio is open,” but then on the other hand you might be thinking, “what about my hair”. With no hairdresser open just yet, I can see this being a dilemma for most of us. Personally…I say embrace the ‘lockdown’ look. Go for a really contemporary portrait with your roots or disheveled cut. It might be the only time in your life that you can get away with pretty much anything and why not record it on camera?
Location shoots
For those of you who are still concerned with social distancing and going into shop or studio, there is always the option of having a location shoot. This will allow plenty of space to social distance.
Book an appointment
If you’d like to book an appointment, the easiest way is to drop me a message and I’ll get back to you to arrange a date and time.
