Every little helps

Hey! I recently made an update to my photography business that I thought I’d share. Everyone is talking about being more eco-friendly and trying to reduce their carbon footprint? Well, I decided to take a leap and make a small change in my photography business that aligns with those values too!

First off, I’d run pretty much out of my business cards and rather than getting more printed I wanted to completely revamp the cards. I mean, they’re quite important in networking and all, but I wanted to make them more environmentally friendly too. So, I went for a single, reusable card with built in NFC technology. There’s also a QR code for those that don’t use NFC and for . One tap on a mobile phone (or QR code scan) and it takes you to my contact pages. From here there is information about my location, my website, contact pages, my social media links and obviously my phone number. The great thing about them is that I can update any of the details and it instantly updates the link. So not only does it look great, work more efficiently but it’s also contributing to a greener planet! Just hope I don’t lose it!!!

There are a few more changes that I plan on implementing in the near future, but tbh, my business isn’t really an un-environmentally friendly one in the first place. I recycle, reuse packaging where I can and order in bulk rather than multiple smaller orders.

So, yeah, environmentally friendly practices are now at the core of my photography business. It feels great knowing that I’m doing my part to help the planet while capturing beautiful moments in people’s lives.
